Best way to setup a vpn

Hello I have a vps that I would like to use for a vpn. Whats the best way to create a vpn/vpn program? I will be using ubuntu for the os

OpenVPN is the first one that comes to mind. Tons of guides out there on how to set it up.

No, you will need an OpenVPN client

Nope, you will need OpenVPN client for it.

Which I suggest over the Windows built-in one, mainly for security reasons.

Shouldn't need more than a couple GB of RAM in a worst case scenario

So 2 or 4 gb would be good?

Yah, I would say 4GB just to have room for linux and anything else in the future.

If you don't have any plans for adding more services and whatnot in the future then you can definitely go with 2GB of RAM.
