Ok so I returned the xbox one S and a 100 buck monitor to amazon. Tracking says both were delivered back to amazon.

 

Here is where things get fucked up, the monitor shows it was never recieved and the xbox says it will process my refund in 2-3 days.

 

I contact amazon and they say that both items were received and that a refund was issued for both items.

 

I havent gotten an email confirmation of any refund or that any items were received. My Amazon store card doesnt show a pending refund either,

 

One support staff said theyd send a email confirmation and never did, the second was passive aggressive and couldnt figure out that a refund couldnt be processed till it says it was recieved and that she couldnt (update the information to be correct) then she just stopped reply to the online chat, the third guy said he would send me a email confirmation that a refund was issued but it has been 15 min and I still didnt recieve shit after I told him I wanted to stay in the chat till I got the email from him. He said I had to end the chat before he would send the email. (code word for not sending it fuck you). So now Im going to contact the back and file a charge back on amzon for being an a**hole to me.

 

If it was only 50 bucks fine but they are f***ing me out of 387 bucks!

Yeah well they keep giving me the run around. The chick didnt even reply she just stopped replying so Id close the chat to speak with someone else and refused to transfer me to someone that could actually help.

The one time I refunded an item from Amazon, I got the refund within a fucking day. Which was actually kinda funny too, since I was sending back an item that Amazon only fulfilled the purchase of.

Huh, that's weird. Maybe different areas handle refunds differently(?)

Granted, I don't live all that far from where they picked up the return (it's somewhere in Georgia), but still, that's really bizarre.

And it's definitely a FBA item? I've returned who even knows how many items to Amazon, and never had an issue like this. They managed to lose my return once, but telling the rep to look at the tracking number they provided took care of that instantly.

All the items were sold by amazon and the rep says its in our system they are both received but Im like if it says that then why does it say it was never received on my end? If your system cant even update the return information on my end what makes me think its up to date on yours? Ive had easier times with returns on ebay then this. 30 min later I still never received the email from the customer rep.

All I ask is that they either solve the issue and do what they say they are going to do nothing more nothing less. The fact that they lie to me and just say oh youll get it youll get it. Is a crock of BS. Newegg and ebay is far better then this and thats sad.

Same the one time I had a problem with an amazon item sent it back got my refund and had my postage refunded as well. Actually made some money off it since they refunded postage in USD,

Calling is going to be better than a chat thing.  If you end up with a foreign sounding rep you should ask to speak to a US representative and they'll transfer to a customer service person here in the US.  The foreign repe tend to be not so good for complicated issues like this where you need to explain in detail what in the world is going on.  

 

Then in cases like this where everything has gone down the drain I'd suggest asking to speak to a supervisor after you're talking to a US rep.  They might have a better chance of being able to help you.

 

 

If all that doesn't work file a better business bureau complaint.  It's not a guarantee but I've had good luck with a few shipping carrier related complaints.  So there's a chance that if it came to making a BBB complaint that they might notice the fire under their butts and help you.

I was using FBA to sell things and they straight up lost my package and said they would give me $20 for it. It was worth $160 so I demanded it and they said show them proof so I went to Best Buy and they had my receipt from 2008 for it.
