Does motherboard need a wireless card for wireless printer to work?

Omie

I have an Hp Officejet 4500 g510n all in one wireless printer.

If I connect my printer to my wifi network via router, would I still be able to print from it with my new PC even though I don't have a wireless card installed in my mobo?

Like would I simply be able to just add my wireless printer from the add devices menu of the control panel in Windows 10?

Your computer itself doesn't need to have a wireless card, it can be connected to the router via an ethernet cable and if the printer is connected to the router by wifi, your computer should see it.  The printer will be treated as a network printer instead of one connected directly to the computer.

Your router is the central network hub that every wireless device you authorize and connect will interact with, and if your computer is connected to the router by wifi or ethernet, it will detect any compatible device that is on the same network.

If your computer is connected to the router via an ethernet cable, then it should work. Everything is on the same network.

You just need to be connected to the same network (i.e. the same router), it doesn't matter if its through ethernet or through wifi.
