A really strange internet problem

Ayiumo

Hello!

Let's get straight to the point...

some download not all of them are slower ( we talking about 900kb/s slower then normal )

and i don't see why thats normal..

Im going to wrote down the thoughts i have about this issue and some clue to help you understand the problem.

Clues:

If i download from the browser the download start at a low speed download till it fade to 0.0 kb/s.

if i download from other application like torrent or  game's client such as lol the downlaod is normal.

the pc i'm using is new, i built it.

I booted the pc with win10 using a usb-pen that had an iso mounted with rufus. (while i was choosing the bootable device i notice that there was 2 partition of the usb i used the first of the two) (win 10 is working fine)

i have problem with .dll files .

i use a NETGEAR WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB Adapter to connect to the internet, i have the latest driver installed on the pc and its working fine.

I dont have any antivirus installed , i had it before and the problem was still there.

Toughts :

Could it be a problem of clearance?

Could it be the firewall blocking it?

Could it be that some settings of the pen? (Im gonna upload a file with all the settings about it)

i dont think its a problem of server or line cause friends that have my same line and live close to me doesnt have it. (and why would other download works)

i dont think thats there is a problem with certain server cause all the download from browser are problematic.

i dont really know how to resolve this thing... and if u need some certain information feel free to ask them..

i kinda need people that have knowledge or experience about this stuff..

Have you tried a different browser?

Are you the administrator of the wireless access point? If not, are you sure the administrator has not set up some kind of (broken?) traffic throttling?

Maybe server related download restrictions? -> The max bandwith of the specific source is limited, so you can not go any faster.

ISPs do have sometimes problems in passing through the data. -> overuse of their wires or too many users at the same time in the network

WiFi use may be restricted by environmental conditions -> e.g Heavy rain will cause the air to have more water, which then intefers with the 2.4GHz band

Since when does the problem occur? Only today?

I just checked for other posts made by you. Did you build a new PC? Is the Netgear USB Wifi Adapter new? How was your old PC connected to the internet (cable or WiFi)?

the pc is new i build it with my own hand ..

is working fine..

but as i said in the topic

I booted the pc with win10 using a usb-pen that had an iso mounted with rufus. (while i was choosing the bootable device i notice that there was 2 partition of the usb i used the first of the two) (win 10 is working fine)

the wifi adapter isnt new i was using it on my older pc

o.t. I read that u have an ssd and a hdd drive for storage ...

i installed a new ssd and used a 1tb wd hdd (that i had in my older pc)

i just installed win10 on the ssd and then i simply connected the hdd with a sata

the pc read it and i right click+format to clean it ...

but i think i messed that up cause if i try to install thing on that drive things are missing and stuff

if u wanna know more detail: /main/topic/717370-hey-need-an-expert-in-storage/#comment-9139474 just add linustechtips.com

if u know how to resolve that problem too it would be lovely
