On Monday morning amazon decided to go on its period and changed the asus gtx 1060 (6gb) price to 15 pounds xD

I ordered this and so did a few of my friends. My friends ones have been dispatched but mine hasn't. If they refuse my order but accept my friends order can I do anything or take any action against them?

you should get an email that confirms that you ordered it i believe, not just that you payment is being processed. after that the transaction is final and can't be canceled by amazon I THINK. it was something like that atleast.

It's common for web sellers these days to say the contract isn't final until some condition is met. Meerly placing and getting acknowledgement of such is not necessarily sufficient.

Hope it goes well for you but I'd still caution it.

Scan are a major seller of kit so they're unlikely to be a scammer. Probably a genuine pricing error. Question is how is the follow through? Do they have some clause remaining they can use to get out of it? With every step it is less likely.

I am still cautious about. Worse case  I get my money back

Heck they may even give you a free $5 for the inconvenience. (I had a late shipment on a set of books so amazon gave me a full refund and a $5 gift card since it hadn't arrived for 2 days after expected and said it was shipped.) Best part, I got the package about 2 days later.

Read the small print. As said, it is not unusual for there to be get out clauses put in. If you think they aren't valid and fancy challenging it legally, good luck, but it would probably end up costing more than the potential benefit of winning.

Sadly in the UK suppliers are protected from mistakes like this, and can cancel the order even if money has been taken out of the customers account.

Its so shady :(

Well, what did you expect? Did you really think they were going to sell it to you for that price after discovering their mistake?

This happens all the time, online prices get messed up, and then they just cancel the order and refund you. They can totally do that, based on the fact that the listing was just incorrect. It is probably in the fine print that no one ever reads.
