What RAM Size kit to get

If Ryzen is all its hyped to be, i'll probably be replacing my 2600k with a Ryzen CPU. My 2600k has lasted me 6 years and it seems like cpu progression has only been getting slower more recently, and intel isn't even trying to improve max performance anymore. So it seems likely that my next cpu could last even longer, perhaps significantly longer. So then do i buy a 64 GB kit right off the bat because the only way to be sure your ram will work together is to buy it in a kit, and then if i have to upgrade later, it would likely be more expensive because i have to buy the 32 GB kit, and then a 64GB kit later?

Ryzen is dual channel only - keep this in mind, aka 4 slots

Also, 32gb is like massively more than enough now and for a while. Maybe you could (if you must) get 2x 16gb sticks on release and upgrade if and when required (rather than 4x 8gb now which would need to be replaced)

Well, if you care about RGB ram, 100% guaranteed its going to be showcased by least 2 companies in CES 2017

One of them being Corsair! And the other Asus! Razer is unveiing their RGB (really green, grand green, boldly green) RAM as well.

There are dual-channel boards with only two slots.

I would expect anyone wanting to put 64gb of ram in a PC to not be buying an entry level board, if they are, something went wrong

idk, micro atx is a little tempting. Might want to put computer in a very small form factor lately.

that board is ITX, itx with 4 slots are rare (if any? I've never looked) however micro atx with 4 slots is mostly common unless, again, going entry level
