Yes, here is a good example where adding some structure under neath the desk will keep the pieces together but also prevent sag.

The standard is 6-32 standoff's those are M3 with 6-32 so take note of the wooden insert but you will need ones like theses for the standoff to bolt into:

oh ok thanks also how can i flush  mount usb and vga ports to the wood

That is a bit hard depending on the ports you use and method for mounting, they do make flush mount type cables like theses which should work. If you wanted a cleaner look you can chisel out a slot and deep recess on the back to have a board with the USB ports right up to the edge like in this product.

They are used to carefully scrape wood off for shaping it.

Wood chisel used for carving or shaping wood, comes in different sizes and shapes if needed. If your not too familiar with wood working it may be a bit difficult if you are planning to build the desk from scratch.

i cut the wood got glass built the rig bent tubing now i need to make the desk

It would be easier to start off with a base or something prebuilt like a desk from Ikea and go off from there and modify as needed to suit your needs.

ime using 3/4 inch particle board for the legs and 3/4in birch ply wood for the serface

Ok if your up to the task it is doable, one thing I would recommend is if your using only 3/4" for the top to have a supported box and structure to stiffen it or it will sag. That or go up to 1" thick material for the top.

It would just prevent the desk surface from sagging, all it would require is some sections to run from one side of the desk to the other under the desk surface and at the front edge where you sit to stiffen it up.
