Posted January 1, 2017 Are you using Cable, DSL, or Fiber? Pings seem very consistent and would rule out it being fiber to the home. I'll assume this is on ISPs end (or a line issue) if the second hop has such a dramatic increase in latency. Likely not a routing/DNS issue, but weirder things have happened. Posted January 1, 2017 Author it kinda fixed itself... i lost my internet connection for a minute and now my second hop is 23ms... it was 17-18ms now still worse than average but i think its an isp problem...
