You can, but it's not a trivial process. You need a Z170 motherboard and a custom BIOS, and you'll be locked out of AVX and power saving features.

That's with an old bios on an asrock z170 board and you can only do it with the BCLK and your CPU can't automatically downclock.

 

If OP wants to get an asrock z170 board, flash an older bios, and do that then sure, but it's not that great anymore.
