Opinion needed, for online gaming build.

The hybrid drive usually can only put 16-32GB on the fast bit, and manages what should be there for you. It's a neat thing, but it won't make your games load faster unless they're the one game that's on the SSD bit. And you don't get to tell it what to put on the fast bit.

Makes sense, so I will go with a standard 1TB drive then!

Hey guys, I am really struggling with what GPU to buy vs spending money elsewhere in my build.

I just thought I would give some more details of my needs and wants.

After really pouring over the reviews and builds on the forums.

I believe I have come to a good compromise for me.

I have added a much better monitor than my very very old 24 inch 1080p monitor.

I have changed the 1TB storage drive to a different brand.

I have went with the 1050 ti as I really feel for my needs it is the best option.

Also went with the i5 6600k and a Water cooling system.

Allow me to give you a rundown of my current system for comparison.

MOBO - Intel DP43BF

CPU - Xeon 3220 G0 2.4GHz

RAM - 6GB DDR3 533Mhz

HDD - 1 TB - About 5 years old

SSD - 120GB - Less than 2 weeks old

GPU - Nvidia GT 430 -  6 years old, I bought it new when it was first released

This system has served me very well and still works flawlessly every day.

The games I play are set to low settings and 720p and it plays them just fine.

However, I believe given the great experience I have had over the years with Nvidia cards I am reluctant to change to an AMD GPU.

I also feel that the build I have gives me a nice cushion for upgrading in the future should my needs change, I understand the mentality of buying the best GPU that one can. However with the tech changing on a yearly bases, I see no point in spending a great deal of money on a GPU that I will certainly never utilize to its potential.

If I have a flaw in my thinking please correct me.

Below is a link to the build I have tweaked slightly.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who has helped me thus far in making this decision.
