What Cables Do I need?

Hello Guys.

I am planning to build my very first gaming pc with i5 and gtx 1060.

Power supply Corsair RM650.I want to go with the Custom cable sleeves.And in the full they are offering me these :

  • 1 x 24 Pin ATX Cable (600mm)
  • 2 x 4+4 Pin EPS Cable (700mm)
  • 2 x Dual 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (750mm)
  • 4 x 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (600mm)
  • 1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (850mm)
  • 1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (700mm)
  • 2 x Dual SATA Power Cable (500mm)
  • 1 x Triple 4-Pin Molex Cable (750mm)
  • 2 x Dual 4-Pin Molex Cable (500mm)
  • 1 x Molex to Floppy Adapter (100mm)

DO I NEED ALL OF THEM?

You only need 24pin power,  a single 6/8pin for most 1060's and enough sata power connections to cover the number of drives you plan to use.

These are the parts. 

Maybe i will change the casing.

And add a ssd

In that case, you'd be using: 

 

1x 24pin

1x 4+4 EPS

1x 6+2 PCIe

1x SATA cable (Cooler and HDD need SATA power, so you can get away with a dual SATA cable)

 

That's it. Basically, the kit will have all the cables you need and more.
