Headset for me.

Go to solution Solved by YouRezz,

Guys, I have an update for you, I got some more money together so now I have about 150 USD. I will go with zalman clip mic, but I still don't know which heaphones to get, so it would be appreceated, if you would throw here some ideas for really nice pair of headphone worth 150 dollars. Thanks

Get the audio techica ath-50m, its totaly worth it trust me, im still cringing for not getting them

the standard answer for gaming headphones is to get an open backed headphone but for some odd reason I'm having a good time in FPS games with my closed back dt770

open backed are pioneer se a1000 or audio technica ad700(x)

I can't find the ad700x less than 250$ in CZ and the ad700 for 160$

Yeah thank you for that reply bro, but the shipping is another 55 dollars from e-bay to CZ. I could get them for the same price here :D

Yeah I was really thinking hard about these, but they seem just too expensive for me.. But I will decide, cause I have never heard any cons about them. Maybe I'll go with them and Zalman clip mic? How does that sound??

Never heard a con, you say.....

The pads turn to rocks over time, and the clamping force can be a bit much for some people.

Overall, not much changes in a budget jump from 100 to 150. Maybe in CZ, but I doubt any of us knows what the market is like over there. For gaming, open headphones are your best bet. Common recommendations are the Sennheiser HD 558, Audiotechnica ATH-AD700 (or ath-ad700), and Beyerdynamic DT 990, but you might struggle to get them into your budget. The Pioneer I mentioned earlier is just as good a headphone as any of those, in my opinion - the low price is just a bonus.

I would rather go with the clip mic from zalman and a nice pair of headphones, but the question is are good headphones good for gaming? And if yes which ones?

I really enjoyed my AD700 for gaymen but eventually the lack of bass led me to get a different pair because for certain FPS's (COD for example) where sound didn't matter to me as much, I would just listen to music.

Enjoy those tacos now, for in 1000 years they will be illegal... eh Ha Ha Ha! I think we all know why.

I would check out Skull Candy Aviator's. Skull candy usually sound like crap but I've hear good things about these.

If they have to have images like this to make people interested in them, they aren't any good.

I'll be buying a pair soon to make sure I guess, but maybe I just like hurting myself.

OK thank you everybody for your replies, I made my mind and I'll buy ATH-M50s and zalman ZM-MIC1, I know it is pretty much double my budget, but I just want them now :D. Like ShearMe said with the clamping force: I don't think I'll have that problem, cause I don't have a really big head.
