Stereo headset compatible with 7.1 on motherboard?

hotcoolfool11

Hi guys,

I have a problem. My headset(Sennheiser G4ME ZERO) has a problem with the front aux input. It makes a lot of echo when on teamspeak. I guess its its electrical interference.

So I'm trying to put my headphones in the back of my MSI Gaming M5 Z170 motherboard but it looks like its 7.1 surround. So what must i do? In what why must I plug it in? I've been looking for a soundcard aswell but cant afford one right now.

Just plug it into the headphone out on the back. 7.1 isn't on unless its enabled in software.

For the echo, ifs it only in teamspeak, ist probably a software problem.

I'm not sure how it works, i only have a 2x line-in and a speak out and in and a mic input.

Use the speaker out then.
