Why isn't there a LTT app, and if there isn't any planned development, could I work on it?

I really wish there was one. I'm guessing they just don't have it high on their priorities. I'm guessing you mean a forum app.

I'd really like one for iOS for my iPhone SE... Browsing through the mobile web version on a small screen is a pain.

Now with the addition of the float plane club it makes more sense. The mobile version is already great but adding support for streaming the video or downloading them would be nice

2. Cause there's no reason to get the 5/5S over the SE since it's an improved version of those two

I wouldn't go as far to say a lower resolution makes the phone faster. Maybe gaming but most are already upscaled or downscaled. Battery life would be better but the phone has a much smaller battery. The SE is a much better phone then the 5S but the 6s still has some redeeming values.

And I mean faster because lower resolution does make the phone faster, if you check out benchmarks and reviews comparing those two phones, the SE is basically always a bit faster than the 6S

Then PM them? Nothing is preventing you from making unofficial app. You just need to make it clear it's unofficial. The main reason there isn't any official app is time and money. It would need to have complete tech support for users, like what mortis is doing with forums. LMG doesn't have money to hire full-time dev for that. Even now developing floatplane is done with volunteers.

 

If you are willing to put in hours to do it, I don't see why not. Just remember that like browser extensions, you need to make both Android and iOS versions, not just one.
