Security Subforum

I was thinking that LTT doesn't really have a proper security based subforum which would be nice to have. I think having a centralized place for security questions would be really helpful since it would be able to cover all different kinds of security whether it be about networks, clients, websites, malware, or just general security questions. 

 

As of right now, those questions are spread out across Networking, Server and NAS, Troubleshooting, OSs, Programs and Websites, and possible a few others.

Threads will pop up regardless and I think having a subforum where that misinformation can be corrected is a plus. I watch you do it all of the time in the Audio subforum though "audiophiles" can be quite stubborn right?

Yeah, the audio subforum is probably the worst for misinformation.

I'm there less now because I'm tired of correcting people and want to learn new stuffs.

Which is why I suggested the subforum so people can be properly educated on security. I don't think it will have the same problems when it comes to spreading wrong information though since most aren't proficient in that area beyonds basics and it is a very objective field.

If you're wondering, that would be "root" converted into binary and then converting that binary into hex.
