Do this Linus

Okay Linus I have no idea if you will read this. But if you do i want you to try this.

I have a Gigabyte Motherbored That can be daisy chain to six other pc's. I want you to try this and see how much performance you can get and if its even worth doing.  Im really interested to see how well it actually works and compares to other pcs. In such things as gaming, Bench marks, rendering, and just general functions. For something as simple as this should be no issue for you and i cant wait to see your video of you trying this. My motherbored i a G1 Gaming z170x-ultra Gaming i have 16gb of ddr4 and a intel i7 6700k with a gtx 1080. If you do read this and accept this i look forward to seeing the discovery and maybe even seeing how well my rig sets up against a daisy Chain configuration.

This is nothing new, nor is it a Gigabyte feature. It's an integral part of Thunderbolt.

Note that those devices numbered 1-6 are *not* other PCs. They are thunderbolt devices like external SSD arrays, exGPU docks, docking stations and other things.

You could in theory have a second CPU in the lane but it wouldn't work out of box, and wouldn't work like a multisocket motherboard would, instead being more similar to having two devices connected via an Ethernet cable.

This thread is cringe worthy.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

It does not work the way you think it works.

You can't just daisy chain a bunch of computers using Thunderbolt and it will work like SLI.

The "computers" in the picture are meant to be things like external hard drives, not other computers.
