Any help? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/futch/saved/Jdvf7P
The MSi X99A SLI PLUS first launched with Haswell-E (e.g. i7-5820K), so PCPartpicker, will give a warning sign.
In most situations, the motherboard should have no problems working with the the i7-6800K out of the box -- the manufacturer will typically load a more recent BIOS onto the board (they know the feels). It may not be the latest BIOS available, but it will work. If you are buying from a place like NewEgg, NCIX, SuperBiz, directly from Amazon, where their supplies go in and out pretty quickly, you should be okay.
Of course, if you buy from a local store or some sort, then it COULD be an old stock motherboard....in that case, it MAY still have a old BIOS version on it (e.g. does not support Broadwell-E out of the box).

A quick Google search yielded this.
On a side note 6800k comes with a stock cooler?
No the i7 Extreme CPUs do not come with a CPU cooler; just the chip itself.
I jut got my i7-6800K from the UPS delivery guy yesterday (along with my X99 motherboard and PSU).
