Posted December 4, 2016 Hello ltt users! My 980ti is still having problems with its temperature. On stock settings it runs up to 92 degrees and i belive it isnt even on full load while so. I switched out the thermal compound which actually made it even worse. I have cleaned out all of the dust inside my case and got case fans running at 1000rpm. Can i return the card for being too hot or what are your suggestions / solutions. Im considering reapplying the thermal compound AGAIN. Thanks alot all tips are appreciated! Posted December 5, 2016 Doesn't sound like the cooler is working. If replacing thermal paste made it worse then you must have put on on wrong or something. Post pictures when you repaste again and also how you case is set up. Try running it with side panel off the case.
