gaming keyboard reccomendation

I'm in the market for a gaming keyboard, and I don't really have a huge budget for one. LEDs are a nice addon (the only really cool thing I'd get one for is for the little ripple effect when you hit a key, I'd pay a little extra for a keyboard with that effect) but not required, I'd like a responsive and clicky switch so something like a Cherry Blue but I've heard that Blues aren't the best decision for a gamer. For reference, I've been playing a lot of Overwatch but I dabble in most genres of gaming (stuff like Kerbal Space Program for example) and I do a fair bit of typing but I'm not a HUGE fan of Cherry Browns, they don't have the response I like.

General consensus suggests that Blues aren't good for gaming. Might be good for you though, which is the tip here. You must note however that they are loud

Blues are fine for gaming if you can get good at pressing harder to get the key down. And what exactly is your budget?

Corsair have some good keyboard like the k70 rapid fire which has back lighting.

He didn't specify any price at all. I would consider "huge budget" something like my Shine 5, which was $165.

Where? $150 everywhere I'm lookin'. I wouldn't consider that cheap at all. I bought it when it came out last year, it was originally $165.

I know expensive keyboards exist, but not everybody is a mechanical elitist that spends a fortune on their keyboards. I use a Rapidfire TK and a Shine 5 (both Cherry Brown switches) and I never want anything more from either of my keyboards.

 

I also despise "minimalist" keyboards- like cmon, don't you actually use your keyboard?? I would hate to have an HHKB.

max rn is 100ish but under that is preferrable

2 LEDs are SUPER optional. the only way i'll bite the bullet on a LED keyboard is if they do the responsive ripple (something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB_SSMBcpq4 )

 

I like 104 key because I use the numpad all the time (as in i never learned how to use the above row number keys and always used the numpad for number entry)

Very basic keyboard. Doesn't look "gamery," but it's stylish and functional. It does have some "gaming" features like N-Key rollover, and it's got your blue switch. If you want to make it look prettier, get a set of these:

Any color you want, customize your keyboard's caps. I have the white+purple set on my Rapidfire TK and they are great. Great texture. Inexpensive.

Alright after a little more digging I've found the AZIO Mech5 (https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Levetron-Mechanical-Keyboard-KB577U/dp/B008CXTW5G ) and with shipping costs etc it'd cost me less than the Rosewill (with shipping that is) and have a few bells and whistles to it. the only drawback that I see is that I can only find is Black. So my question now is, Do you think this is a fair tradeoff and what your opinion on Black switches?
