Does this mean I hit 2.7 ghz on a GTX 960 or what? is the software broken? am I stupid? I am confused. help.

Software error. I'm roughly 99.827% certain that the amount of voltage needed to crank a GTX 960 to 2.7GHz would fry the GPU long before it even sniffed that speed.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

well a 980 at 2ghz is literally a 1080 :P
