I bought the steam link for $20+ tax and I got my EVGA 1080 FTW Hybrid for 50 off (699.99) + free copy of Watch Dogs 2 (which I was going to buy anyways) so I feel like I did pretty well.

I got a $10 AU desk fan, and I did purchase an SSD but it was a price error. $130 AU for 1TB of SSD is just too insane haha

 

My friend picked up a laptop with an i7-4510u, 8gb ram, 1tb hdd, geforce 740m for $470 AU, which is insane for our prices

It's okay. I basically got almost everything I wanted this year anyway and the things I may yet buy were not discounted even in foreign countries so I haven't missed anything important.

The only thing I got was a dbrand skin for 30% off but  the delivery is delayed due to overwhelming sales

Nothing much, just one of the Google Home deals for $100. I had a s%#@ time with Best Buy because my card way literally hacked into earlier this year. In short, all but two purchases were canceled and 4.5 hours on the phone didn't help.
