Water Cooler doesnt fit in my case

Go to solution Solved by TidaLWaveZ,

You need a 240mm rad, you've got a 280mm(h115i).

Your case has top support for up to 240mm so that's the best you can fit without mod.

240mm and 280mm don't really have a performance gap, so the easiest solution is to grab a 240mm rad like the h100i.

Hello everyone I'm a new  to this whole build a pc thing, i was planning on slowly buying my parts but it seems i made a mistake on what i bought.

I have bought this [DIYPC Gamemax-W ATX Full Tower Case] on newegg about a month ago thinking it was a pretty cheap and decent case. And last Friday I bought this Corsair H115i water cooler on amazon with a cpu thinking i could finally start building my pc but as it turns out the case and the radiator doesn't fit. I'm not sure how i should go about this problem.

should I,

buy a new case? if so which one?

replace the water cooler with a smaller one?

get some power tools and some metal to put it together?

Heres a link to my build right now I'm still waiting for my ram and planing on buying SSDs, HDDs and graphics card later this year.

what i had in mind for this build is eventually having a custom water cooling system and 3 monitors

Depends on the return policy but you shouldn't have any problems assuming you bought it quite recently, you have all parts, and nothing is damaged. Amazons customer service is pretty good about these kind of things.

alright thanks guys. I'm with amazons customer support rn and it seems like they will refund the item.

but just to make sure

i should get this one instead right?

That one will work!

As far as corsair goes get either that one or the h100i GTX.

If you continue to look around just make sure the specs say "240mm".

No, you don't need to close it. You can choose a best answer/mark as solved but it doesn't really matter.
