But on the other wall I have Ghostbusters, The Matrix, Back To The Future and Forrest Gump.   Though I'm going to replace those with new ones and get them plaqued once I can afford it.  Plaqued posters are way nicer than framed ones.

I then ventured out and hit up 3 of the retro video game stores in my area.  

Store #1 didn't have anything worth spending money on.

Store #2 bought some blue ray dvds and a dalek figurine

Store #3 bought Kingdom hearts for the Gameboy advance, and some A/V cables for my sega saturn.

 

Then i hit up harbor freight and bought some stuff, but i honestly don't know if any of the stuff i bought was on sale or just their normally low prices.

No but seriously, other than going to work this morning, I spent the entire day inside. I want nothing to do with black friday and all the crazies out there.

I'm waiting for Cyber Monday... but even there, I might not get anything too, because really, the only thing I would want to buy, is parts for a new PC, but I would rather wait until next year. 1- Because my current PC is still more than capable to handle another year and 2- Because, maybe, hopefully, if Zen shake things up, Intel will finally get off their butt and release a compelling product worth upgrading to for the first time in 5 years instead of just "10% better IPC" each year, which really I doubt you truly notice the difference it makes outside of a synthetic benchmark, like higher memory speed.

Unfortunately there's hardly a decent bf sale in my country regarding computer parts, it's their usual misleading 50-70% off wherein the discounted price is the original price if you bought them from a store. Best deal I managed to get was a Samsung 850 Evo 250gb for $60 and I don't even know if the order pushed through since I got an e-mail that the order is awaiting stock.

Nice!  Empire at war gets a little repetitive for me but it's still very good.  Perhaps you could let me know if you have any issues running it?  I'd tried playing that on my main desktop running W10 (pretty sure that was the computer I used) but it ran laggy or stuttered, one or both, and was somewhat unplayable as as result.  I never did figure out if there was a way to fix that.    Republic Commendo is also very good.  C&C3 is my favorite of the Tiberium universe games.  The last great hurrah before EA murdered C&C with that Godoka awful 4.  

 

Is that the card based KH game?  I had that but I never finished it.  Hopefully you have better luck.

 

That's too bad you weren't able to go to your sister's home.  Assuming you like your family it's nice to get to see them.  I had to skip thanksgiving with the relatives too though in my case it was because I was not in a good place mentally and needed some alone time.

Hottopic has RWBY stuff?  Crap I was there earlier but all I got was a Legend of Zelda shirt and a Eeveelution shirt.  I totally didn't think to look for any RWBY stuff...

 

Any idea if Assault Horizon is any good?   I haven't played an Ace Combat game since that Zero something game that came after 5.

That's frustrating...  I swear the deals were better years ago.  I only found a few movies for super cheap and a few games for presents but only 1 for me.  Skyrim SE on PS4 if you're curious.  I have it on PC but it's $25 on Amazon currently so I figured what the heck I'll get it in case it ever has issues on my computer.

I salute your commitment to sanity. ?  The main reason I went out today was because I was hanging out with a friend and we were bored after binging on The Walking Dead for most of the afternoon.  Also to grab The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 for $10 USD to be part of a Christmas present for my other friend since we happened to be at a mall with a GameStop anyway.

It's a fun game.  Don't go into it thinking of it as an Ace Combat game.  As a standalone game, it's awesome.

Cool.  I just might have to get it.  I haven't really looked at the steam but I'll have to remember to get this if it's that cheap and is actually good in its own way.

Ive played and already own empire at war and commando,  but i can't locate the disks lol.

 

Are you asking is bro-force a card based game?  if so no it isn't.   its a 2d run & gun in a retro style.  all the characters are spoofs of 80s & 90s action movie guys.  

 

Its kind of like a cross of between metal slug and super meatboy.

I think so.  I think I'd even googled something about problems with Empire at War and found something about setting/adjusting CPU affinity or something like that I think.  I didn't really understand what it the search result had said to do beyond being able to follow the directions to do it.  But I'm pretty sure even that didn't fix the problem I was having.  At least not entirely.

 

I never did try my disc copy to see if the digital download had the same issue or not.  Losing discs for games does suck doesn't it?  ?

 

Sorry.  I was asking about the GBA Kingdom Hearts game if it was the one where the combat was based on using cards each with its own use/effect.
