Axon 7, OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T - Canada

Ryz

The ZTE Axon7 and Oneplus 3 are both around ~$520 cad, where the baseline Oneplus 3t (64GB) is $599.

Naturally I'll wait for some blackfriday sales, but it seems the axon7 and oneplus 3 are pretty comparable, any glaring issues with either?

Yes, they also have a ZTE Axon 7 and a 3T too, all singing the same praises for around the same price.
I'm wonder if anyone has some other thoughts, espeically with the canadian dollar, being that the 3T works to be more expensive in canada than its USA version.

It's the same price as the US version, we just have a worse dollar. The Axon gets a $50 discount south of the 49th, so hopefully it gets the same up here. If not, might be worth ordering it from the US if you're close to the border. I think I saw it on sale on NewEgg though.

I almost ordered the OP3t yesterday, until I looked at the cart and saw the $725 price.

For the same price, I can get a brand new Pixel, V20, or S7e off of Craigslist. Granted that's a little sketchier but I've had no problems in the past.

I look at it this way:

Axon 7: If you love music, go for this guy. Expandable storage plus the much better DAC/AMP make it an easy choice.

OnePlus 3t: If you use your phone a lot, go with the T. It apparently lasts a lot longer. Or if you're a selfie queen. ;)

OnePlus 3: If you use your phone regularly, without a lot of heavy use, go with this one.

They won't. At least nothing of equal quality. I just saw that deal as well, not gonna lie, probably going to pull the trigger on it.

I can sell the headphones and power bank and have a new phone for $350ish. Excellent. Where did you see the Axon 7 on Amazon?

Axon 7 according to what I read has the qualcom 820 and here in the UK is more expensive than the oneplus 3t with an 821 CPU etc.. I am more interested int eh 3t personally anyway, so as long as they don't mess up with stock levels etc I will most likely go that route :)
