How do I setup a HDD + SSD system (pre-installed laptop)

I'm wondering how I prioritize files to HDD and other things. I'm completely new to HDD + SDD setups. Please help :).

You put the files where you want them.

 

You can chose where programs are installed when you install them. Steam lets you pick the location for files.

In Windows 7, 8 and 10 you can dictate where Windows Stores Docs, Music, Videos. Steam allows you to make game library's on other disks. My setup is a 250 GB SSD and 2 1TB hard disk. One hard disk is just a game drive. I have a steam library on it, and a few other games. The second hard drive is where all my data is stored. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

What laptop do you have? I'd love to find a good laptop with three drives.

Not a laptop its a desktop. But the same principals work.

What specifically? User folders can have their locations changed.

You can change those in the browser settings, but changing the "downloads" folder location will change them as well.
