Well the 480 as a new result for extreme HD and one for basic. The 650ti is definitely a lot stronger in dx9.

I honestly do not know if this counts as a double post. :/

Did runs again, probably the furthest it will go in valley with its stock bios of 1.138v.

Extreme HD, I had a run of 1370 with the cpu at 4.8GHz, but it didn't save. :( That makes me so sad.

you need to have gpuz in the screenshot please. even though its at stock as there are a million different clocks for stock cards these days and unfortunately i don't know any of them. :P

Wow, you managed to get 4.7GHz out of your 4930K? At what voltage?

Sure did!  1.415 Vcore, thermaltake 3.0 360mm AIO liquid cooler and noctua ppc 3000rpm fans.

edit:  Working on my R15 score, working great at 4.7, cranked it up to 4.8 and no go.

a 4690  <_< - so basically 3.5ghz (3.8ghz boost) up to 4.5ghz (all four cores) gained me 10 fps average. I think Valley is starting to be "topped out" as a GPU benchmark...

Phone is flat - ill snap some pics later if I remember. Its entirely home made  - im running 3x22inch screens currently as the DK2 isnt compatible with Windows 10... yet.

2 X 980 Ti's

Also try setting nvidia control panel settings to "prefer maximum performance" "single display performance mode" and under the "adjust image settings with preview" tab set that to

"use my preference emphasizing performance"

I think that should get you like 160 FPS score easily, as you should be able to get ~80% scaling I'd imagine.

Another thing you can do before you start the benchmark, hit enter to skip through the scenes til you get to the beginning again, then start it.

(your CPU may be holding you back slightly, you could do a short run at 4.8 or 4.9 ghz and maybe get more points as well)

Swapped out the 4690k for a 4790k @ 4.9ghz and finally broke 5k with a single gpu.

I beleive that makes me #1 in single GPUs. So ill enjoy it for the short while it will last.

I know the max 'supported' resolution for the 970 from any display port is 4k but when you do surround 1080 and it surpasses the 'supported' resolution does that cause a extreme strain on the gpu or a tax of a kind? Looking at the charts I am a little confused as to why I scored so low? I might try to oc my cpu higher than what I did it at last time but I wanted to get this clear first.

Very true! although my cpu does hit very close to 100% cpu usage all the time from just pretty basic task and my ram nearly gets maxed often. but when i installed it boy it made a huuuuuge difference. there was something wrong with the hdd in it anyways. it couldnt defrag and it runs extremly slow. so slow that it would make me lag in warcraft when it had to load new stuff. its not even on SATA 3 but it works just fine. its just limited to about 250mb/s it seems but its whatever really, works like a charm.
