You will be fine. Does your motherboard have the Z170 chipset? You can only overclock your CPU if it does. Also, you can overclock your GPU regardless of your choice of other components.

i have a 6 core I7 overclocked to 4Ghz with a X79 mobo and a 980Ti on a 550W PSU. i think you might be fine :P

I can get 4.5GHz at 1.3V on my 6600k. This may vary with your CPU but 1.3V is generally the safe voltage for skylake.

What PSU is it? I would imagine you're looking at either the RMx or CX550M? Both are good for your system.
