This is simple..

 

On a scale of 1-10 how dusty do you think your computer is?

 

1 is like brand new

10 is loaves of dust on your fins

 

just leave the numbers.

But do you measure amount of dust? 10 is a big scale

By the time it gets to 3 or 4 it gets cleaned. 

 

It takes a year to get there though.  Last time I cleaned it was in February and right now I'd rate it as a "2".

i'd say a 5, last time I cleaned it by air compressor was August.

I clean my PC quarterly by running a feather duster over the motherboard using an air compressor.

2, I use a filter and clean the filter every now and then. Dust rarely gets through. Most of the dust is pre-filter.
