The rumour sites do stretch whatever little info they have rather thin, but the bulk of the hype is spread from those who are fans of AMD. We only have one data point from AMD themselves to go off and it doesn't tell us much.

 

I don't think just "good enough" is "long term good enough" for AMD. They need to reach beyond the low end, and throwing more cores at things isn't necessarily the solution.
