Being tied down myself I can relate to that, to some degree. Though, that whole situation just kinda seems... Not really sure how to word it, but insincere on your end. Also... just to let you know man. As far as the US is concerned, that's like... 100% not true. The only reason when two under 16yo people have sex, nothing comes from it is because both parties would be at fault. No one wins in that situation, so legal action is never taken, and on the few occasions it is by parents or guardians, both parties end up in the shitter.

Which means that If I have sex with someone under that age, no matter what age I am, I am a sex offender. Though more often than not prosecution won't try to go for that if both parties are underage, though they could. Same goes for the other person if I were under 18. That's just how the laws work man, there's no magical work around that allows for it like highschoolers want to say there is xD.

If you have consensual sex with someone under the legal age, even if you're a single hour over your legal age then state prosecution can, and will charge you as a sex offender if the person you had sex with ever decides that they want to report you. 

 

It sucks, but that's just the laws. I won't tell you how to live, just be careful in what you do early on in life. Nothing sucks more ass than being labeled a sex offender for the rest of your life and having strict regulations on where you can live, where you can travel, and what not.

Just be careful man, US federal and state laws are often very strict and black and white. I'd look into it more if you're not absolutely 100% sure of the exact wording of it, because seriously. Nothing is worse than being a sex offender. 5 years of incarceration and a life-time of trouble.

 

But that's for the US, hell, for all I know you could live in rural japan where the legal age is 13. And on a side note, oh japan... so backwards in culture, and yet so forwards in automation...

well its nothing I have to worry about, and if you're a person who takes advice without doing research well RIP its your own fault if you being a sex offender becase you read a post and went with what the person said

In Canada, if you're 14+, you can have sex with someone so long as they aren't 5+ years older. So, a 14 year old can legally have sex with an 18 year old.
