PC worth buying?

Hello, I'm unsure if this was the place to post this, I'm sorry though if this is the incorrect forum.

I've have been looking for a new computer system for a little while and came across this one, it is 2nd hand but I'm wondering if it would be worth it for how powerful it is. ( Person is charging $1,500 AUD which translates to around $1131 USD ), the system specifications are as followed.

CPU - i7 4790k

MB - Asus Maximus Ranger VII

RAM - 32gb DDR3 Kingston 1600

GPU - 2 x Leadtek Nvidia GTX 980

HDD/SSD - 2 x Samsung 850 256gb SSD ( Are in RAID mode, unsure if they're able to be "un raided". )

CPU cooler - Corsair H100 WC

Case - Corsair Full Tower in white ( He did not specify the case model )

PSU - Corsair H1000w

Disk Drive -  Lg optical Drive

Would it be worth $1,500 AUD for this system, or should I keep hunting? ( Again it's 2nd hand. )

For 1.5k Aussie moni's you can just build your own PC...

I can, but it would be a lot worse then the system listed. Going through PLE, I only could get an i5 6400, GTX 1060, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB HDD. Which would be way worse then the current system.

Try having a look at ebay, gumtree or MSY for the parts, you might find to get it for cheaper. If not, go for it.

I'd buy it for sure. That's a pretty solid system.

Just make sure the storage isn't shot.

Sounds like a steal.

yeah its sounds like a really good deal. only two things concern me: 4gb of ram on the 980s and the reliabiity of the watercooler(not sure how long it will last)

Yeah, it's a good deal.  (If I had the money) I'd jump on it.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

It would be possible to remove the water cooler though and replace it with a fan cooler? It's not a full system water cooler only a CPU one.

yeah it would :) im just worried as all in one watercoolers dont last as long and the pumps tend to die after a while. replacing it with a decent air cooler is a nice option you can look into or even a new aio

Of course. I wouldn't worry about it though, if it hasn't failed by now I doubt it will.

Yea, that's the only concern I have about the computer now. I'll most likely get it as long as there's no issues :)

Thank you everyone for fast responses on this topic, didn't think people would respond this fast! thanks! :D

Here is a rough equivalent performance wise to the PC OP listed but new: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/FhQvbj

There are a few minor differences (the mobo isn't nearly as nice, and the PSU is of significantly lower wattage, not that it really matters without SLI), but otherwise the two builds are fairly similar.

May Our Framerates Be High And Our Temperatures Be Low.

PSUs: EVGA B2/G2/GQ/GS, Corsair RMx/i, Grey-Label CXM, Everything Seasonic/Delta/Super Flower, XFX except XT
