Rigid PETG Bending inserts

So I'm about to do a new build using some of my old stuff. When I did my last build I used olive oil to insert the silicone insert for my bends. But this left some residue on the inside of the tubes which I can still see now. How do you clean the old residue out or what do other people use?

You can use olive oil, it works really well. I used it in my build and no residue was left. It's easy, just rinse thoroughly with some washing liquid (that will get rid of all the oil)... shake vigorously a few times, then rinse out with distilled/deionised. Easy.

Soapy water cools well. And if you use oil then clean it with soapy water haha.

You use the watercooling fluid you plan to put in them, or deionised water...

Are you sure you know watercooling very well?

Maybe you should stick with soft tubing or an AiO?

I did those bends without any issues, it was a simple question there was no reason to be rude (that's the way I read it, sorry if I'm wrong)

You can soak the tubing in hot water to make it expand it helps a little bit.

I've always just used water, I think one or two tubes with multiple bends required a drop of soap as well. Twisting the cord while pulling it out can help too

Don't take it personally, that's just the way Enderman is.

 

Anyways, I wouldn't personally recommend wasting good fluid on bends esp if you Polish up your tubes (makes them look awesome) afterwards anyways since you will been to rinse them quite a bit.
