Posted November 13, 2016 So I upgraded to a GTX 1070 and I have a GTX 960 laying about. My idea is that I can put it in my PC and undervolt it to run without power. I have ran the card overclocked to 1450Mhz with 25MV extra with 120% power limit and it only drew 60% of its 120 watt TDP, figuring that it only will draw 72 watts. If i undervolted it a bit and set it to default I may be able to keep it under the 75 watts that the PCIE slot can supply. I have a 750 watt PSU and it's not that I don't have the connectors to supply power, but I kinda want to make it confuse other people to how a GTX 960 can run without power Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... I was saying that if you were to sell the 960 and get a new card that card should be a 1050ti, not a 950.
