Quadro M4000 at 82 celsius?

As stated above, be sure to clean the card / replace the thermal paste. Check to see if the fan is spinning. Also check to see if the GPU is under any load for some reason at idle.

So,  yup might have guessed, i have a dying M4000, in a really old computer. I' probably gonna replace the graphics card, but is there any thing that would cause the Quadro to run at 82 degrees celsius at idle? (like literally doing nothing at desktop)

replace the thermal paste, make sure the fan works, clean the cooler really well and report back
