Key Fell OFF

Hello guys i don't know if im posting this on the right spot if i'm not sorry then.

So i got an old laptop (ACER A´spire 5742ZG) and the R key fell off and i can't put it back

Depending what kind of switch it is, it's either really easy, or really hard.

Also if the pivot for the key is broken you cannot just put it back on. And don't even say superglue. If it is a part on the key that is broken then you can replace the key. If it is on the keyboard.... then drop the coin for a keyboard.

you need to look at the key that came off and determine the mechanism that is used to attach the key to the board. Look closely and you can probably figure it out.

looks like on the second part that a piece is missing. From what it appears the "keyboard would have 4 small metal tab s or "hooks on it to attach the key to it.

the metal hooks are on the keyboard it self  but i cant attatch the key there properly

It looks like the second and third part are supposed to be either 1 part or connected together. The white part goes in with the black part of it facing down onto the keyboard. all 4 pieces connect together forming like a scissor pivot at the top and the bottom. I would look on eBay for a new key...
