X1 Elite for £200 at Game - Worth it?

Anyone think it's worth it? I've been thinking of buying an Xbox One, most likely just to play the Halo and Gears of War series.

 

I'm wondering whether prices will drop even more over Christmas. Is it worth waiting for now? Game sent emails out to everyone subscribed to their mailing list implying that it is for a limited time only or it will go out of stock. 

It's worth noting you can get the original Xbox One for around £30-£40 cheaper at various sellers, including Amazon.

 

I'm asking because I have never really paid attention to prices in the gaming industry during holidays. How much would you expect the prices to drop? And for those that own it, is the controller actually worth it? I'm concerned whether it's customisability will pull me away from actually teabagging people in Halo and instead going all out transformers on it.

 

The main differences between the Elite and Original:

Better controller

Matte cover as opposed to glossy - I like that one!

1TB SSHD storage

 

The main differences between One S and Elite:

One S can upscale 1080p games to almost 4k

One S can play 4K movies

Basically, nothing if you don't have a 4k monitor.

Power brick is inside the console. Doesn't really matter if the cables are tucked away.

 

Also, what's cooling like between the original, Elite and S?

Oh and the Elite at game is about £40 cheaper compared to its price at Amazon - brand new.
