Hi guys,

I have a modest low profile pc for light gaming but I am not able to use dual graphics, anyone knows why is not working?

my set up is as folow:

Processor: AMD A8-7600 Kaveri @ 3.1GHz, 4 core, 4MB, FM2+, IGP, 65W, Box
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A68HM-S1, A68H, FM2+, 2xDDR3, VGA, RAID, mATX
Ram: 1x Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB DDR3 2400MHz, CL11, DIMM, XMP

Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE R7 240 BOOST 1GB DDR5 (4600MHz), AMD Radeon R7 240 (730MHz), boost clock 780MHz, PCIe x16 3.0, 128bit, DVI, HDMI

Is possible to use dual graphics? is maybe because I have only 1 ram slot?

thanks in advance

How did you even plug 2 of those GPUs?

Did you use riser for x1 slot maybe?

couldn't find the specs for your board, but I found similar models like the GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-HD2 FM2+ AMD A68H doesn't look like they support sli or crossfire. You're better off upgrading to one good GPU instead of doing sli/crossifre if you just need it for gaming. Check out LTT on youtube they do a lot of videos about these dual gpu configs and they always recommend getting a better gpu instead.

There's only one video card present.

Can that be even done?

I'm not sure if he would benefit from that.

There must be some option in BIOS to enable dual graphics. Most motherboard will disable iGPU (APU in this case) when dedicated GPU is pluged in. So you have to change that in BIOS settings.

From the information I linked earlier, I'm guessing that you're right on this, need to check BIOS settings

I just found this: http://wccftech.com/amd-kaveri-dual-graphics-works-ddr3-memory-based-radeon-r7-gpus/

It should work even with ddr5.

thanks you guys for your answer,

mi query is because the motherboard say "

AMD Dual Graphics Technology
3451.jpg
The AMD FM2+ series platform showcases AMD Dual Graphics technology, allowing users to further boost 3D graphics performance by adding an additional discrete AMD Radeon™ graphics card to the system. This unique Dual Graphics technology means users can enjoy higher frame rates on the latest gaming titles, utilizing the processing power of both discrete and integrated graphics processors.

Note:
1. Please use both AMD Dual Graphics technology qualified A-series APU and VGA card, detail information please refer to AMD website:
http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/dual-graphics/Pages/dual-graphics.aspx#3

"

and I get the SAPPHIRE R7 240 BOOST 1GB DDR5 because the r7 240 chip was recommended by AMD for dual graphics in the official website:

AMD Desktop Dual Graphics Solutions

A-SERIES APUS A-Series Name APU Graphics Brand Recommended Graphics Card Pairings* Brand
FX AMD A10 78x0 APUs AMD Radeon™ R7 AMD Radeon™ R7 250
AMD A10 6xx0 Series AMD Radeon™ HD 8670D AMD Radeon™ HD 6570, HD 6670
AMD A10 7700K AMD Radeon™ R7 AMD Radeon™ R7 240

*May not be applicable to all product and graphics device pairings. For more information if AMD Dual Graphics is supported on your configuration please contact the manufacturer.

I have enable options in bios to force on board card as tutorials say in YouTube and install drivers but still not working, is that really necessary to have 2 ram slots? is the only thing I havent tried yet...

@hijotuhermana

Have you tried this?

It came from the motherboard's manual.

Which menu are you referring to? AMD's drivers?
