Which mainboard do you use?

The m.2 slot most times shares bandwith with some sata slots on you mainboard.

The information, which of them can be found in the user manual.

Maybe you have to select the m.2 operating mode (SATA or NVME) in the bios?

Is the pc an already running system that you just added the m.2 drive to?

Manual says that the m.2 slot share bandwith with the Sata express connector.

Did you connect any sata HDDs or SSDs to those connectors? ( where the red arrow points in the picture of the mainboard)

If you have drives attached to those unplug them and use the sata ports below.

there is a switch in the bios. ( picture )

the sticker is just a guide. you can plug drives in any of the sata ports and the will work the same.

This is the link to the User Manual:

Point 2.2 describes how you get in the bios.

Just press the DEL  ( delete) button while  you boot

if you do it you will see this : ( without the red stuff)

advanced mode.PNG

click on advanced ( where the arrow points)111111.PNG

Then click on "onboard devices configuration".

there select "m.2" instead of "sata express".

the drive should show up then.

but i dont know if you  other drive and your cd drive will still work oin those sata ports.

IF .... they dont work, you have to move them to other ports.
