Is my onboard audio broken?

I normally use a pair of G35s but I sent those in for warranty and I picked up my sister's ATH-M50s because I wanted to listen to some concertos while I did HW and at first I thought nothing was playing but then I realized it was ridiculously quiet. I can't really figure out a reason why its doing so but maybe you guys would know.

Was the jack in all of the way? Because sometimes some headphones have a stubborn jack.

Other then that I wouldn't have any idea, because the M50's are easy to drive.

I know they're super easy to drive but I don't mean like they're just not as loud as they should be its probably lower than what it would be at on 1 on my sister's computer and I have everything at 100 and I went on foobar and tried +20db gain and I can still barely hear it.

Forgot to ask if you are running off the front panel.

I tried front and rear panel neither worked. So I went around just trying all of the 6 jacks on the back and I found that what is labeled as Rear Left/ Rear Right ended up working for my headphones for one playing of a song on foobar but under sound by speakers (what it should be connected to from the labeling) says that nothing was plugged in. I tried in the normal L/R and it worked but I still can only play music off of foobar and it only works until the track is over. What I've found is that after the track is over and it goes to the next/repeats there's activity in Realtek Digital Output, but when it does work there's no activity.

In the control panel, under hardware and sound click the audio device manager, disable all the devices you are not wanting to use (right click and select disable). Then enable only the "speakers" with realtek high definition audio.  This will force all programs to use that only. Then go to the realtek control panel and ensure you have the main output selected to stereo, front speakers full range front left and right.

Err I went and tried that and it really wasn't doing anything for me since I can only sometimes change the volume and I can only do that through the program. I found out if I were to plug in my headphones in the front L/R port and then quickly unplug it and plug it into the L/R port in the back I would get audio at proper levels but it's not being registered as speakers, I went and disabled every audio output/playback and it continued to play. In the properties for " Speakers " It only shows Front L/R, but my other computers show front and back panel. Audio is only coming from Spotify and I can only change the volume from spotify and not the volume mixer.

(I explained it much deeper but I closed my chrome tab accidentally and it only autosaved half of my rambling)

This may sound like a silly question, but have you turned off you turned off your computer and turned it back on?
