How Quickly Does Your Office Get Dusty And Has To Be Cleaned

SuperShermanTanker

So I have my office which has a kitchen on one side with my office on the other (the kitchen side of my office is not the main kitchen of the house it's just a secondary kitchen downstairs) and I only had my main PC together for a few days after having the PC in pieces for 3 weeks due to a defective motherboard and I see dust starting to build up on the front of the PC. I also have a small glass table on the kitchen side and the spare computer setup that's on the other side of the room from my main PC also has a glass desk. Mainly I dust off the office once a week to every two weeks to prevent dust buildup but it's noticable every few days with the dust. How often do you guys have to clean your office and have to dust out your PCs.

Just look at the honeycomb pattern infront of the PC and that's the dust build up after a few days

PS my main PC does have a dust filter and the spare PC which is a ITX build has no dust filters

At work? Not so much. Must be one helluva HVAC system they have.

Well a job place also has people cleaning the desks and tables, I don't know about the PCs but they defiantly should have people who go arround during off hours and cleaning

My office is seperate from the rest of the house's climate control with it's own thermostat for the heat and I have to put a  A/C unit in the window every summer, and to add to add to that I have no door on the office and I have a cat too so the fur doesn't help

For me it seems like a daily battle but then again I work somewhere that sawdust is likely to hitch a ride home. I clean my PCs filters about once a week and give it a good blow out once a month. Seems to work as most of my equipment is still pristine.

It gets very dusty here. I would say it gets back to the way it was within a week of my cleaning up.

Carpet is a dust magnet and my room being a bedroom/office/workshop doesn't help me. Need spent 3-4 hours cleaning every week before an ecosystem starts popping up.

Takes about 4 months for my PC to get dusty, and full of lint inside. Eventually I take it to school and use the Air Com presser to clean it out,
