Hi all,

So i'm in canada rn and I want to know if putting a tutorial online to get something for free like movies and games is illegal. I will be posting these vids on YouTube. Some proof would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advanced!

I mean... it is illegal but have you seen those people who post stuff like that on youtube? I don't think they get caught and those pirating websites that give out free software. You might or may not get caught but it is illegal.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

I am not familiar with Canadian anti-piracy law. In NZ it would get the attention of the copyright holders and they could request your house get raided by the cops. Kim dot com was an extreme example.

First off: I'm almost certain that LTT does NOT allow and does NOT condone ANY form of piracy, including telling others how to do it and where to obtain it.

Second: in SOME countries (not sure about US, CA or NZ, the countries mentioned so far) is IS illegal TO EVEN LINK or DISCUSS or TEACH, including audio and/or visual guides, anyone how to perform and obtain piracy.

Third: Make the videos and I'll upload them to a new channel we can make together. I live in the US and I'm pretty sure it's not illegal for us to teach people how to commit piracy via YouTube videos lol PM me and we can talk details but I'll definitely fully run a YouTube channel and contribute my own methods and knowledge and sources how to commit piracy! I'll even make sure to do some digging IF our videos get removed to find out EXACLY how we can word our scripts and what exactly can or we can't show in the video. If we get a ton of takedowns and eventually find out that we basically just can't do it: let's find a new video host and drop the YouTube thing! PM me brotha, but don't post here. I don't want you to get banned.
