FreeGeek - Has Anyone Been?

Hi, 

Just wondering if anyone has visited FreeGeek. I'm looking for DDR3L 1600MHz SODIMM ram modules and was hoping that someone on the forum could confirm whether they held those. I have to get them asap. Thanks.

There is lots of free geeks. I volonteered at the original, free geek Chicago, and they will probably have some. That being said, they are starved for laptop components. That's going to be one of the more tricky parts to get there. Mostly they have low speed ddr2 and some low speed ddr3.

I was just going to check tomorrow but wanted to know in case anyone knew...then maybe I wouldn't have to travel all the way haha. It's not very far compared to some of where the forum users live but I wanted to get some for my workplace ... out of my own pocket.

They're usually good with updating their online inventory. If it's on the page, the probably have it in stock.
