Need help with lowering price of a build

Sportmax8

so I'm helping my friend out with a build and i need some suggestions, he just wants to play games like csgo, gta, minecraft. I have a list but he wants to keep everything under 900 including peripherals. If you guys can check out the list and tell me how to lower the price a bit that would be great, I think the gpu might be a bit overkill so give me some suggestions to replace it, thanks in advance!!

Don't buy overpriced Razer stuff...... Their keyboards use cheap Cherry knock off switches, and their customer support is absolute crap.

Agreed, get this, you don't need the expensive Razer peripherals

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

iPad Air 2 (for school)

iPhone 6

Xbox One Forza 6 Limited Edition Blue

-Never ever buy Razer, go for Logitech or SteelSeries instead

-Buy a cheaper Motherboard (H81 chipset, not Z97 since you aren't overclock that cpu anyways)

-Consider buying a cheaper graphicscard. A GTX 950 would be way enough for what yout planning to do with it.

-Consider buying a cheaper CPU

Alright to defend Razer here. The only thing I liked from Razer was the deathadder chroma, it was a decent mouse and still is. and when it comes to mice first consider what you play, than your grip, whether or not you like a weighted mouse, and finally wireless. Also take in consideration of dpi, the optic it uses, ect...

This is a good build highly recommend, in fact you can add a 144hz 1080p  for roughly $80 more. http://pcpartpicker.com/product/PmyFf7/acer-monitor-umfg6aab01 granted you will be over $31 over budget still a suggestion if you want to of course.

For crying out loud, if you're on a budget don't get a fancy ass expensive keyboard. Even the entry-level 15 dollar Logitech keyboards are great, type well and honestly it's not going to have any impact in your gaming performance.

Also, I'd go with a current-gen platform. You barely save any money going back to the previous platform (unless you buy used).
