i made some audio cables, i think these are gonna be keepers, if they just werent so hilareously impractical...

yes, that's 600V/1KV 2.5mm² wiring, the kind of stuff we use for wall outlets up to 3680 watts  (fused at 4.6KW theoreticly)

i'm also gonna send some plans to a 3D printing friend to outsource some cable management clamps:

The original packaging had the thing branded as Qilive (which is another name for Longdong Shenzen Inc.). 5m RGB strip, of which I'm using MAYBE 2m on one of the room corners. It basically replaced my room lighting completely since I don't really need to much light when I'm at the PC and my workdesk is literally under the strip. Still no idea what to do with the leftover strip and it seems a waste to just use it without an RGB controller

W2D3 late evening update:

been doing some little things on cabling but my logitech performance MX (this thing is old....) started acting up again, so i had to take a small detour from planning to bake

the performance mx is now happy again.

and since i'm likely gonna be stuck with my dell ultrasharp a little while longer i decided to take the "white sausage" and make it slightly more pretty so i can drop wall voltage in style

joking aside, for those that say i'm some sort of hard drive brand fanboy, these are the hard drives i'm currently relying on for my data storage. yes, the middle one is a refurb, it is in fact a €7 refurb

 

cabling is being a horrible mess, even more of a mess than usual , i'm gonna try to have at least a decent wiring setup by tonight.

 

that aside, i've made another big decision today....

stacy's not on her way out yet, i'm still undecided how much new hardware will go into stacy, but she'll be staying a few more years  (that noctua D9L is defenately gonna happen tho, stacy's cpu cooler is done for...)
