Asus vs. Apple

Hi everyone!

 

I need your help to choose between two computers one is the new Asus Zenbook 3 and MacBook Pro. What's your opinion? I would buy both with the highest configuration so... Which one would you choose?

Asus might give you more bang for your buck. Apple tax is ridiculous. Razor blade might be something else to look into.

I would say Apple MacBook Pro, but that is because I prefer MacOS to Windows.

The Zenbook 3 is defo. better than the new Macbook, If you're a macbook fan, then i would defo go for an air or a pro.

oh dear god, the ZenBook 3 will thermal throttle and it is just a asus meaning meh build at best with shitty support. A Macbook pro would wreck the ZennBook 3 in every single way

Also no, razer has some insane quality control problems with their laptops and they all thermal throttle. Razer support is also just bad, not useful in any way.

I said I prefer OS X (well, now MacOS).  That does not mean I don't want the ability to upgrade my own hardware if I so desire.  If Apple went back to upgradeable internals on their laptops, I would probably have a MacBook Pro 13. 

Anyways, before I had to get a new laptop for school, I was using a MacBook.  I had a gaming desktop because I like PC gaming also.

I love my Zenbook (older ux31a), even if it's on to its second motherboard, and the hdmi is broken, and It has been dropped so many times I had to file back to corner of the case. Touch pad on the asus is one of the best I've ever used, and has been the easiest laptop to fix I've ever owned, it's traveled around Australia with me in the back of my 4wd no worries.

 

You do pay a little more for apple, but their build quality is usually excellent, good battery life and osx is actually really good for a mobile os. Go out and look at both choices and make up your mind, although if the asus has a touch screen I'd go with that hands down.
