When i use a USB to charge my phone, my pc i slow

Hi guys,

 

My pc runs so slow when i am charging my phone throught a usb cable,

 

Is it my power supply?

PC specs: 

i7 6700k @ 4.4 overclock

16GB Kingston HyperX fury @2133mhz

MSI Z170 GAMING M5

MSI R9 390 8GB

Corsair 760T black

EVGA Supernova 650W Gold+

Does task manager show any processes using a bunch of CPU resources?

This is going to sound idiotic but have you tried turning both off and on again? Updated all your phone's software? What phone do you have? What OS do you have? Have you tried doing this without an overclock on any of your hardware?

Apparently a USB uses more power than I thought, Check your processes and see whats eating up either your RAM or CPU
