Can I use SAMSUNG UE40KU6000 4K tv as monitor?

I'm wondering if it will be good for everyday use as well as gaming. I can't seem to find any information about supporting HDMI 2.0 at 60hz, can anyone confirm ? Though it does support  HDCP 2.2  whatever it is. My question is if I will be able to use it as standard monitor and game at 60fps no problem ?

Remember your GPU has to support HDMI 2.0 as well, what GPU have you got?

I've got MSI 1070 so no problem. I just never used a TV as monitor and am wondering what the experience will be. 40inch and 4k at computer desk - isnt it a bit too much for a monitor ?

Depends how close you plan on sitting, but I've got a 24 inch 4k monitor paired with a 290x and it does quite well - as long as your not silly with your quality settings IE disable FSAA and hairworks etc etc. You should be fine as long as the TV is HDMI 2.0 to enable 60hz

i imagine it'll do just fine. it's just a monitor.

Depends on what you want to game, as TVs have huge input lag compared to a computer monitor

Depends on the TV, my 4k TV is just 18ms which I don't notice (sure hardcore gamers would notice but I don't feel any lag). Crappy and cheap TVs can be as bad as 100ms which is definitely noticeable. They're getting better though, just make sure you turn off all post processing and switch the TV to "game mode".

Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.
