Posted October 4, 2016 Two Questions The company I've got a quote from has listed the following on their quote: (Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler with NF-F12 PWM). I'm just wondering what this NF F12 PWM stands for? because I can't find the Noctua on their website so I'm wondering if it's different (I'm guessing it's not but I just want to check) Can someone tell me If I'll be fine with 2400/15 ram? Because someone on here told me yesterday I needed 2660 (which costs $30 more) and others disagreed so just wanting some confirmation on this. Posted October 5, 2016 You absolutely do NOT need faster RAM if you're on a budget. The performance gain from, say, 3000MHz RAM over even 2133MHz is negligible, almost always within the MoE of testing. 2400 is as fast as you'd need 9 times out of 10. We're all weird. Posted October 5, 2016 The NF-F12 is the fan that comes on the NH-U12S. Don't spend more for faster ram. In most cases, ram speed makes little to no difference for real-world performance.
