Unfortunately I didnt find any other thread about this topic. But i guess i am not the only one with this problem so let me explain it: I have a fractal design define s already with the acrylic side window, but it is scratch all over the place and all in all doesnt look that nice anymore. So i thought I could just replace it with a tempered glass one. But i recognized the window is hold on with a small "lip", can I just dremel/file it off? if so i would just use a u-channel and stick the new window in.

Is this possible? Has anyone ever done it? Is it difficult? Can I do something wrong? So much questions and no answers to them in the endless web. *~*

So numerous of us have done it. Myself included.

Don't use tempered glass use float glass (standard stuff from a hardware store cut to length and like 20 dollars).

I just bent and filed off the holding clips leaving the lip in place then used RV black silicon to attach it to the side panel. Looks flawlessly good, and super easy to do. If you click the link in my signature on the 3rd page there is a description and set of images of my process. 100% recommend for any Define S owner.
