There's no reason it wouldn't. You can move the connectors around and even remove any you don't need. It also ships with a six pin if you need one instead of a single or dual eight pins. All it does is move the power connectors from the top of the card to the back of it. There isn't anything EVGA specific to it.

it works on any video card that has flushed connectors (against the radiator) - the spacing between the PCIe 6/8 pin connectors can be adjusted

Except for the EVGA logo and the inherent markup. They want a lot of money for this, and the EVGA store has awful shipping costs

I placed my request in, no idea of shipping and tax cost yet.

EVGA has received your request for Get your FREE* EVGA PowerLink™!.

You will receive an email notification when your request is approved with more details on how to pay for shipping.

It does seem a bit dodgy not quoting cost at the start of the request process.

It can't imagine that it would be any worse than HTC had for the Vive shipping to NZ, $825.22 USD, + $989.08 for shipping, handling with tax ($1814.30 USD total).

$29.99. Tax will depend on where you live. They mentioned what the price of the thing will be on the forums.

the price for the PowerLink alone is 30$, as for the shipping costs ... I haven't made business with EVGA

go on EVGA's shop, add something light in the basket and see how much shipping will add

$23 shipping.

I was going to ask someone who got a 10 series card to send me their free one if they didn't want it (I'd pay tax+shipping of course), but not for that kind of money. fuck that.

from what I recall, EVGA has some oddities with shipping - they insure every product they ship

Regardless of the reasoning, $25 to get a "free" aesthetic item is a bit steep.

They arrived today.  Total was $14.99 for both shipped.  Not sure where the $23/$25 numbers came from.

It's adjustable, so it does work witl all GPUs. At least on the nVidia side. JayzTwoCents reviewed it a couple days ago IIRC

US and Canada only so, dear EVGA:

It was available to other countries as well.

I live in NZ, and it said shipping cost was $15.

I requested the powerlink on 03/10/16, and they approved the request on 04/11/16, and they acknowledged receipt of payment on 05/11/16. The status still shows as this though:

Quote

We have received payment for the shipping cost of your PowerLink™(s).
Please allow 1 - 3 business days to ship out your PowerLink™(s).
Please check back later for tracking information.

I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt that the delays are just as they are trying to find where I live as we have moved our country a couple of meters recently.

Not all GPU's orientate the power connectors in the same direction, although the connectors can be moved left/right and swapped out for one or two 6 or 8 pins they cannot be rotated 180°. Also, some GPU's have the power connectors recessed into the card a little. Because of this not all Nvidia cards are compatible. Reference and EVGA cards are compatible, and it can be used with some others but there are no guarantees.

As far as I'm aware, the connector orientation differs from AMD to nVidia. From what I've seen in JayzTwoCents' video, the connectors are fairly long and should be good even for cards where the connectors are recessed.

Tbh, it's kind of a pointless thing to even use, not to mention manufacture. It's bulky, ugly and, honestly, just another potential point of failure
